How to Get There: Road vs Private Boat?

During the summer months, the road up to Formentor Lighthouse is closed to private car traffic to prevent congestion. This forces visitors to use crowded public buses. By choosing a private boat trip, you avoid lines and enjoy a unique panoramic view of the entire peninsula.

Formentor beach offers excellent anchorage over white sand bottoms at 4-6 meters deep. It is a highly sheltered spot, perfect for eating on board, swimming, and paddleboarding in complete maritime tranquility.
